- SDN, related protocols and interfaces
- IPv6 access: DHCPv6, PD, ND/RA, SLAAC, 6PE, 6VPE, Dual Stack IPv6 Tunneling, Translation and Transition mechanisms
- Business Edge: MPLS, VPLS, L2/L3 VPN, NG-MVPN
- Carrier Ethernet: E-LINE, E-LAN, E-Tree, NNI, Global Interconnect, SLAs and Services
- Wireless 4G LTE EPC data network architecture (including SGW, PGW, MME, PCRF, HSS components)
- Data Center: 802.1Q, 802.1ak VXLAN, LLDP, storm control, STP
