الوصف الوظيفي
What You'll Be Doing:
- Conduct transportation planning studies such as transportation master plans , corridor studies etc.
- Conduct associated operational analysis including intersection analysis and analysis of road segments and interchanges using standard techniques and packages (eg SYNCHRO, VISSIM, HCS); development and analysis of mitigation measures, and travel demand modeling
- Understanding of highway design principles as they relate to transportation planning and engineering
المهارات
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- BS in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 6 years experience in transportation planning and engineering including preparation of traffic studies for small and large developments;
- Very good communication skills as reflected in report writing and presentations
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Expertise in two or more of: Travel demand modeling (e.g. using CUBE), operational traffic analysis (using SYNCHRO, HCS, Sidra, etc.); micro-simulation using VISSIM or Aimsun
- Experience in public transportation planning, non-motorized transportation, and parking management
- MS in transportation planningtraffic engineering
