Overview of the role:

The successful candidate will be expected to drive projects in bringing together entire aftersales footprint globally (covering all sales channels – retail, service, body, product etc) which includes managing end to end program management of current and new projects in aftersales. This includes manging steerco presentation, PMO updates for Sr. Mgmnt, Project tracking and governance setting,

Product ownership of the aftersales projects which includes expansion/acquisition of new brands/regions

The roles leads product/project strategies and delivery and supports beyond delivery to optimise and enhance the value to customers using agile, design thinking and other methodologies to accelerate the organisation into the future through entrepreneurial development of new products and services.

Essentially, they are accountable for defining the product vision and working closely with internal / external experts, to get the best possible end-product to customers in the fastest possible manner.

This role will work in a fast-paced, matrix organisaiton and collaborate with cross-functional teams & regions, and business stakeholders to accelerate the achievement of business results. The position will be responsible for maximising sales/profit through a commercial understanding of the products/services being delivered and deep customer expertise.

What you will do:

Product Leadership

• Own the end to end product outcome and define the creation and direction of the product to achieve the commercial objectives

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define the roadmap and corresponding go-to-market strategies

• Collaborate directly with all parts of the business required to deliver and run the product including operations, brand principles, technology, real estate, and external partners and be a central part of decision making

• Engage with the internal and external technology experts to determine the best implementation methods and guide them to deliver the most valuable outcomes possible

• Supervise and advise the scrum team to ensure they understand the vision and strategy, constantly have a prioritized backlog of work and ultimately meet deliverable expectations through participation in sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, and retrospectives

• Engage internal/external market and customer intelligence experts to provide domestic and international market and customer insights; target customers, market study for expansion, business improvement and expansion of new/existing products and services in order to create customer propositions

• Align with finance on the formation of commercial business plans and financial analysis

• Work closely with the CX and UX team to create an aligned and unique user experience for the product

• Engage with Legal on current contractual constraints/new contracts and advise on M&A options

• Liase with HR on resources and structure requirements (capacity planning)

• Liase with Network development to enhance the aftesales locations and its performance

Product Assessment Phase

• Test feasibility of business cases through POCs. Determine business unit appetite and capability to execute and customer demand.

• Define methods/approach and confirm availability and commitment of cross-functional team members for delivery.

Product Development & Scaling

• Design implementation plan with timeline, owners and budget.

• Confirm plan is validated and executable.

• Ensure plan and budget are approved by Business Owner and Sponsor.

• Be responsible for timely, efficient delivery and handle the launch of the product/service.

• Ensure stakeholders receive regular and accurate updates on deliverables and details of the cause of any delays.

Project Delivery

• Deliver projects on time, cost and to quality

• Develops new project portfolio governance models, project management methodologies, reporting and performance management frameworks and dashboards, and project management tools and templates

Serves as primary interface for product owners, sponsors and SMEs, leading planning and executing their projects, is intimately familiar with progress of all initiatives and proactively assists the team in preventing compromises to project scope, budget & deadlines

• Promotes and measures adherence to the project management methodology and other project success factors (including stakeholder engagement), which includes training and continuous support to PMs as well as audits of PMs

• Prepares reports to all relevant stakeholders on the status and progress of the company’s portfolio of projects, insights as to key risk areas and mitigants, to ensure timely escalation and support

المهارات

Required skills and experience to be successful:

• Bachelor’s degree (post graduate education preferred)

• Prior experience with project management (both Agile & Waterfall) as well as development/roll out, governance adherence to frameworks

• 10 year + in product/service development with previous experience within the Automotive industry with P&L responsibility, preferably experience in automotive aftersales

• Expert knowledge of and experience in the automotive after-sales or sales industry is essential.

• Proven ability in building new, disruptive products/services and taking these to market establishing product market fit.

• Expert knowledge of the complete automotive business model and value chain is preferable.

• Experience of working with multiple parties and a variety of services, with proven ability in negotiations, preferably with AGILE or other Project management qualification

• Solid business acumen, with the ability to identify the requirement to deliver the product/servcie and equally adept at solving complex problems and influencing teams and management to deliver them

• Self-starter, accountable and results-oriented: takes initiative, is able to commit to and meet established deadlines and objectives, is able to work independently as well as a team player

• Fast learner, agile, keen and capable of handling new and changing assignments, strong organizational skills are a must

• Analytical and curious: Ability to understand and interpret business contexts and complex/new scenarios/topics

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills: able to present to and interact with management level and larger audiences, resolve/anticipate conflict, train and coach people

• Commitment to excellence and attention to detail

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project and Visio)
