Koch Engineered Solutions is seeking a Project/Site Manger to drive construction business growth for the Middle East region by developing inhouse construction/ Site Services installation capabilities to deliver projects according to schedules and budgets. We specialize in providing innovative technical and service solutions that can be applied in industrial value chains. What You Will Do In Your Role
. The Project Manager is responsible for overall project management, project planning, scheduling, resource management, budgeting, construction, commissioning and startup, and establishing and meeting critical project objectives.
. You will be ideally early involved in the proposal phase, and will participate in the proposal preparation, subcontractors selection and winning strategy definition.
. Plan all the activities of internal and external resources.
. monitoring the progress and performance of the various activities to reach the contractual deadlines.
. Monitor project during execution, identify variations, develop and implement recovery plan to ensure satisfactory completion of projects.
. Review/Create/manage construction documentation for projects method statements, computer planning schedules, safety plans quality plans, engineering drawings etc. All as necessary to meet project requirements.
. Allocate supervision and site labour requirements on specific projects.
. Brief personnel on specific project requirements to ensure smooth execution
. Prior to project start assist in the selection temporary labour, notify labour and co-ordinate to suit project requirements.
. Manage project costs against estimate, contract variations and ensure necessary information for invoice purposes.
. Monitor the financial part including contract budget, invoicing, Account Receivables & Cash flow
. Identify, evaluate and limit technical and commercial risks.
. Participate in the KOM, various visits and meetings including close-out meeting.
. Ensure compliance with internal or designated standards and quality requirement.
. On completion of the contract chair the project close out meeting and seek feedback from clients.
. Enforcing the company policies with respect to health and safety, QA, working hours, remuneration etc.
. Maintain adequate stores of tools and equipment for the company and recommend to the Construction Operations Leader the purchase of specialized capital equipment.
. Carry our any other duty within your capabilities as necessary for the efficient operation of the company or as directed by your line manager.
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
. Extended experience in equipment and site installations/services in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, chemical sector (Mass Transfer components i.e Trays, Packing, other type of column/Tower internals).
. Ability to read and correctly interpret engineering tower and internals drawings.
. Direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
. Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
. Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
. Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
. Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
. Ability to defused tension among projects team on site, should it arise.
. Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
. Background in mechanical engineering.
. Travel up to 70% and work at other site locations throughout the regionWhat Will Put You Ahead
.Strong proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Project or Primavera P6
.Mass transfer knowledge
