. The Project Engineer shall develop and coordinate the execution of the project plan in an efficient and effective manner.
. Review the project progress in timely manner to ensure to meet the project milestones.
. Review tender documents for all requirements within and participate in the technical evaluations/verifications of Contractors/Suppliers during the tendering process to facilitate effective selection of Contractors to suit project requirements.
. Facilitate tender process and finalization of the contract.
. Coordinate, control and support the execution of all project work carried out by the department across all offshore sites adhering to company's set standards, policies and procedures.
. Monitor and review progress of each on-going jobs, schedules, daily/weekly/monthly plans and liaise with the Superior providing support and advice regarding project execution within the set procedures, specifications and allocated budget.
. Assist the Superior in verification and approval of schedules, allocating assignments / tasks to the department staff, providing technical clarifications, budgetary information and addressing any other issues as per the annual plan.
. Plan, coordinate, direct, control and support for proper execution of all works earned out by the Project Group staff at Abu Dhabi office and offshore sites.
. Verify and approve the work completion reports for engineering, construction and commissioning works.
. Study, review and gather data for future usage of the inspection & investigation reports submitted by inspection Companies.
. Verify, review and forward the tender and contract documents of various contract works.
. Reviews project schedules, site work schedules, daily/weekly/monthly site work plans, reports, etc.
. Survey and review the operational conditions of various plants and facilities at offshore, discuss and coordinate with Engineers, Supervisors and other Departments on future requirements and schedules.
. Study work contents and scope of works of the work requisitions from sites and other Departments. Assisting tor planning and execution of such requisitions.
. Verify, approve and follow-up material requisition, equipment requisitions and other requirements from the sites.
. Attends various internal and external meetings.
. Provide expertise in the verification and approval process of contractor's pre-qualification documents and contribute to the assessment of each contactor's capabilities with company's requirements negotiate and finalize the terms and conditions of the required operations with the contractors verify – review and forward the tender and contract documents to the Superior for approvals.
. Plan, organize, coordinate and monitor all contractual operations related to the Project to ensure that cost-effective and quality services are obtained for company from all contracts.
. Review the contractor workloads in the Project in order to determine the adequacy of manpower, materials, equipment and vehicle resources.
. Master's/ Bachelor's degree Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical)
. Master's Degree in Project Management preferred
. 15 – 20 years relevant experience of which at least 10 years in Oil & Gas industry at management and coordination level.
. Offshore construction experience as Client Engineer (or PMC) is mandatory.
. Experience in executing FEED and EPC stages of projects in Offshore Oil & Gas Projects.
. Extensive experience with supervising construction activities for offshore Oil & Gas projects.
. Experience with installation/ revamping or firefighting systems are offshore platforms and islands are considered as added advantage.
. Familiar with latest company HSE and Engineering standards.
