They are currently looking for a Cost Management & Control Specialist to be based in Saudi Arabia.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review standard project cost reports including committed cost, cost exposure, monthly cost report, forecasted future cost etc.
- Reconcile cost reports correspond with system-based reports and take necessary corrective actions for discrepancies.
- Review planning, budgeting and re-forecasting on different projects.
- Review original estimated cost and total estimated cost to completion.
- Compare Estimate / Budget to Actual Performance & Forecast and prepare budget utilization report on different projects.
- Compare forecasted future cost report to project schedule
- Periodically review cost drivers and advice any changes, if required.
- Review and validate allocation of indirect and FTE to projects based on approved cost drivers.
- Ensure timely allocation of indirect and FTE cost to projects.
- Prepare monthly financial performance cost report.
Qualification & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Finance from a recognized university is preferable
- About 5 years of related experience of which a minimum of 3 years should be in a similar position/ responsibility, preferably in the government / public sector.
- Extensive knowledge of costing, accounting, business operations, payroll (experience in these areas preferred)
- Expert knowledge of desktop applications (Ms-Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Earned Value Management and BI Tools.
- Working knowledge of project management systems such as SAP, Oracle, S4HANA.
