Our Client
A highly established private investment firm in the UAE have exciting newly created opportunity for Head of Investment to join their team.
Your Responsibilities
- Actively sources, researches, analyses and evaluates a variety of investment opportunities across (funds, direct, co-investments)
- Develops complex financial models
- Leads due diligence activities which include appraisal of company's past and projected financial performance
- Actively sources, researches, analyses and evaluates a variety of investment opportunities across (funds, direct, co-investments)
- Submits recommendations based on the results of the team's due diligence and analysis
- Negotiation and execution of investment agreements and other transaction-related legal documentations
- Analyses potential fund investment opportunities
- Drafts internal fund investment proposals for approval of the Investment Committee
- Assists in negotiating, structuring, and completing fund documentations
- Bring a network to add/ bring deal follow to division.
- Monitors ongoing financial performance of portfolio companies and funds and overseas the reviews of valuations.
Your Qualifications
- Masters/MBA educated with professional qualification (CFA)
- At least 10-15 years experience, including within public markets
- Experience working in either investment bank, family office in the GCC
- Wider international experience (US, China, Europe) is advantageous
- Arabic speaker is essential
