Plans, directs and controls the operations and administration of the Trade Finance Division. And ensure quality customer service within the policy guidelines established by the Bank and the regulatory framework

Principal Accountabilities
Put in place a formal review process for all transactional work related to Trade Finance.
Preparation of work flows and standard operating procedure for the process migrated form other banks which included pre- matching and fails management & reviewing them on quarterly basis to update any change .
Reporting for any associated problem occurs or faced and which cannot be solved.
Authenticate tested transactions and record.
Managing the day to day running of all aspects of the Trade Finance division including the relevant reports.
Ensure the Trade Finance division is run effectively and efficiently.
Manage the duties of Central Operations Manager and Treasury back office Manager during their absence.
Coordinate with Head of Department regarding developing the Trade Finance systems and implementing the formalization of the Trade in terms of its procedures and policies.
Conducting regular meetings within the division to enhance the effectively and improvement and development of the business as a Group.
Manage staff and handle routine staffing issues including the appropriate training.
Manages resources within cost constraints laid down by Head of Operations.
Anticipates changes likely to impact on any aspect of local back-office operations to ensure consistent standards, processes and controls.
Develops and maintains good working relationships with other departments and clients.
Ensure to obtain approval in respect of LCs, LGs and BGs and their amendment applications and processes the same on approval. Verifies validity, authority and completeness of all documents /transaction requests prior to processing.
Ensures compliance with terms and conditions before authorising applications for processing.
Liaises with other banks/financial institutions for opening LCs and confirmation of LCs.
Escalating Issues / matters which required management attention in regard to operation of all Trade Related transaction.
Develop strategies for automation Trade Finance processes and application of necessary control measures in the system and manual environment to accurate processing of the same.
Coordinate with Head of Department regarding developing the Trade Finance System and implementing the formalisation of the Trade in terms of its procedures and policies.
Manager resources within cost constraints laid down by Head of Operations.
Verify validity, authority and completeness of all documents /transaction requests prior to processing while ensuring the compliance with the laid down terms and conditions.
Prepare and maintain check lists for maturing, expiring transitions escalate the same to management and relevant stake holders (EX: SBG, FIG, Customers)
Ensures that the returns, statistics and MIS reports required by the SAMA, CBO and the Management are submitted in an accurate and timely manner.
Monitoring of trade related accounts and provide reconciliations in required intervals in order to ensure accurate presenting of Financial reports.
Ensures excellent level of customer service and satisfaction through supervision of transaction processing.
Ensures that the necessary documents properly executed are obtained from customers and securely held.
Ensures that payments are made correctly and in a timely manner on negotiations and documents under collections.
Ensures that the returns, statistics and other reports required by the SAMA, Accounts and the Management are submitted in an accurate and timely manner.
Ensures that the necessary records, registers and documents are maintained as per the requirements of the Bank and regulatory authorities.
Responsible for SWIFT administration activities including approval of all mails transmitted thereon.
Comply with regulations required by regulatory entities
Motivating and appraising the subordinates.
