Regional Employee Safeguarding and Relations Lead, MENAEE
The Opportunity

The position is responsible to ensure that MENAEE Region holds robust mechanisms on awareness, prevention, reporting, responding, offering support to employees in need in relation to SCI employee safeguarding policies and procedures including any forms of harassment, bullying and disrespectful behaviours. Taking into consideration Diversity, equity and inclusion within the region. S/he will also play a key role in addressing employee critical concerns/grievances and supporting Managers in this regard. This position will lead and oversee risk management related to employee safeguarding and employee relations, provide technical expertise, build capacity and guidance to Country Offices, strengthen systems and ensuring communication with relevant stakeholders.
In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.

In order to be successful you will bring/have:
* Undergraduate/Bachelor degree in Law or Journalism or equivalent
* Relevant experience in the field
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English
* Commitment to Save the Children vision, mission and core values
* Strong track record and experience in investigative case management/investigations, high quality investigation report writing in English.
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills and listening skills in English.
* Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality
* Ability to manage stress, and accommodating in difficult and frustrating working circumstance.
* Ability to work in different time zones
* Respect for different cultures, working experience with multi culture will be preferred
* Ability to work under tight deadlines
* Willingness and ability to travel abroad in short notice as required.
