Your major responsibilities will include:

Schedule patient consultations to help build patient relationships
Assessing patients and identifying their problems.
Engaging in discussion with patients and making them feel comfortable.· Implementing individualized treatment programs.
Undertaking psychometric testing.
Evaluating patient responses to treatment over time
Organizing a long-term counseling plan that involves multiple visits.
Offering services to all age groups.
Offering both one-on-one and group counseling.
Keeping a detailed account of patient mental health history and manage confidential files.
Being patient and building relationships based on trust.

who you are

You must be a qualified and experienced psychologists with experience in working with people who require counseling on various concerns to join its growing team in Dubai. Candidates with a current/past exposure with Paediatric Counseling is a MAJOR PLUS.

skills & competencies:

Candidate must be a native Arab Speaker;
Excellent communication skills in English (must be articulate);
Builds strong doctor-patient relationships and has excellent bedside manner.
Collaborates well with doctors and other medical professionals.
Demonstrates strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Works well independently and has strong time management skills.

education & qualifications:

Master’s or Doctorate level qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
Specialized training and minimum of 3 years of work experience for Doctorate and 5 years for Master’s level, including at least 1 year of experience in working with people with eating disorders
Dubai Health Authority (DHA) or Community Development Authority (CDA) licensable
Qualification from UK/ USA/ Western Europe/ Australia would be preferred
