Company
The company leads in the industrial services industry specifically in transportation and logistics industry. It provides airport services in Saudi Arabia. They are currently looking for a Procurement Director to be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure alignment of the Procurement Department's efforts in implementing company's Financial strategy
Monitor the development and implementation of the Procurement department's policies, procedures and processes
Monitor performance of the Procurement Department against KPIs and objectives on a regular basis
Develop and monitor the annual budget of the Procurement Department
Act as a technical advisor and provide support to all functions and stations across company on all Procurement related matters
Oversee the procurement requisition process and ensure its effectiveness and efficiency
Oversee the proper identification of vendors and accuracy of vendor lists
Supervise the evaluation of new suppliers and review results of periodical assessments of supplier performance
Lead the development and review of agreements documentation with regards to contractual matters, including terms and conditions, contractual claims and counter claims, as appropriate
Guide the post-award activities including variations, claims, disputes and closing of contracts
Provide professional development support and perform periodic performance reviews for direct subordinates based on Performance Management System
Work to provide employees within the Procurement Department with the required competencies through appropriate and blended learning
Recruit talent within the Procurement Department

Qualification & Requirements:

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Procurement
MBA or Master's in a relevant field is a plus
Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience with at least 8 years of experience in a managerial role
Ability to consistently achieve results even under tough circumstances, ensuring strategic goals are met
Ability to deliver effective communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
Candidate must be Saudi
