Faithful+Gould are looking for Planners to join the team in Oman.

- You will be a recognized expert with a minimum of 15 years of experience in a similar role at a senior level.
- You will have experience in development and maintaining baseline programmed starting with very little briefs and input.
- You should have experience into infrastructure projects and assessment of extension claims.
- PMP preferably.
- You have considerable Planning & Scheduling experience showing clear career progression in the planning field through working either client side or for a consultancy.
- You will have experience of working on high value, high rise and other building/mixed use projects from pre-concept to handover.
- You will have proven track record in lead a team of professional planners and senior planners.
- You will have experience in dealing with clients on daily basis. You will have experience in working in high pressure environments with very demanding clients.
- Knowledge in the use of Primavera (P6) and MS Project is also essential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills is essential
- Experience in identifying delays and preparing impact or time extension analysis reports
Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Scheduling
- Overseeing & managing Planning Engineers
- Assist in managing logic networks based on critical path (P6)
- Assist in the development and preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports & dashboards to the client
- Assist in the updating of the Baseline Schedule, including executive summary report
- Identify bottleneck areas and alerting management as well as develop solutions
- Coordinate and interface with client, and other sub-contractors daily
- Assist in the development of weekly snap shots as required by the client
- Attend meetings with the client and owner and provide information to team members regarding new direction or updated information
- Developing the appropriate systems and procedures to deliver services to client
- Assist in preparing time extension or delay analysis reports
- Coordinate with the Commercial Team to ensure planning goals are achieved
- Be a team Leader to ensure all deliverables are submitted in a timely fashion
- Review and sign off on all deliverables prior to submission to owner & client
- Interface with the Design Team to ensure issuance of designs meet the planned schedule
- Interface with the clients project managers and zone managers on a daily basis
