الوصف الوظيفي
- Maintaining records of deliveries including date of delivery, name of recipient, and condition of items upon arrival at destination
- Opening and closing the pickup door, securing it with chains / rope.
- Inspecting vehicles for mechanical problems and making minor repairs as needed
- Observing traffic laws and maintaining safe driving practices to avoid accidents or citations
- Loading and unloading trucks with cargo or materials, including heavy machinery and industrial supplies
- Following safety procedures such as wearing safety gear while operating machinery
- Communicating with dispatchers about delays or other issues that may arise during deliveries
- Reporting damage to cargo or vehicles during transport
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
- Accepting payments for delivered items.
- Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.

المهارات
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license issued by the state where you intend to work.
- Clean driving record.
- Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
- Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods.
- Attention to detail.
