Overview of the role
The Assistant Showroom Sales Manager is responsible for:
- Attending to walk-in customers at the showroom
- Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
- The accurate completion of monthly management reports covering all activities
- Following up on current leads, opportunities and key accounts
What you will do
Sales Planning
- Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and given marketing strategies
Sales Target
- Achieve Sales/Gross Margin Target set by the management on Monthly, Quarterly and Annual basis by activities mentioned below
- Generating Sales Enquires on monthly basis so as to achieve Order booking strike rate of 15-20% of enquiry quoted every month based on assigned Sales Target
- Generate business leads for upcoming projects by regular visits on daily basis to Key Developer/Consultant & MEP contractors
Customer Relation /Networking
- Maintain good rapport with key clients, design Consultants
- Interact and engage customer for information feedback related to competitor’s pricing/products proposed
- Understand and analyze the customer needs
Knowledge :
- Maintain Comprehensive knowledge of Sanitary ware products, Market intelligence, industry trends and competition in the assigned territory
Communication
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams

What equips you for the role
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Bachelor Degree is preferable
- High school degree at least
Minimum Experience:
- 1-2 years minimum experience in Sanitary wares, with understanding and awareness of the regions construction industry is preferable but not necessary.
