الوصف الوظيفي
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Reviews and coordinates project-related payments, i.e. payment certificates and invoices for contractors and consultants as assigned by the Lead or Senior QS.
- Supports the monitoring and updating of the financial report status of construction contracts and consultancy agreements that will be issued regularly.
- Prepares and updates the monthly the cash flow expenditures and budget forecast for specific packages for review and approval by the Senior Cost/QS Engineer.
- Supports the review and/or preparation of variation orders as assigned by the Lead Cost/QS Engineer.
- Reviews contractor’s cost proposals and engineer’s recommendations.
- Reviews and/or prepare cost impact of revisions or changes in design as required and prepares checks of the consultants’ estimates.
- Supports the tender process and financial evaluation of bids as required.
- Reviews and comments on BOQs for proposed design changes prepared by others.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate under the direction of the Lead or Senior Cost/QS Engineer.
المهارات
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
- 4-year degree in QS or related technical field.
- 4 – 7 years of related work with experience in large-scale development projects preferred, and where QS services were performed.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring”
- Incumbent must have a broad general technical and construction background.
- Proven ability to perform in a technical capacity, good written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are also required
