Description:
The Senior network security engineer is responsible of Leading Network security operations team and act as Subject matter experts to team members the role will cover Operations and administrations of network security devices, this will include incident, change and release management of various security products and tools as but not limited to Fortinet NGFW, WAF, NAC, SailPoint IAM, Thycotic PAM, and Arbor DDoS.
Responsibilities:
Act as lead and subject matter expert to team members
Own and review complex changes and critical incidents
Provide guidance on critical incident till full resolutions
Oversee all Daily operations of various security products
Conduct peer review on all changes and incidents owned by other team members
Integrations of new security solution/devices into the existing environment
Configuration, management, performance & capacity monitoring and tuning of assigned security technologies and platforms
Deploy and tune Configurations to enhance protections
Present Operations team in CAB meeting
Review and monthly operations report
Own and Resolve problem to identify root cause analysis
Open support tickets with technology vendors when required and ensure support issues are resolved within SLA's
Make sure all assigned tickets are resolved within the agreed SLA's
Maintain the technical architecture of the assigned security solutions, ensuring all components perform as expected meeting established service level objectives for system uptime.
Maintain hardware/software revisions, security patches, hardening, and documentation.
Maintain Up to date documentation for all solutions
Qualification:
Knowledge of key Technology vendors (Fortinet, SailPoint, Thycotic, Arbor).
Strong operational experience with various security technologies WAF, PAM, IAM and DDOS)
Experience in configuration management Forti Manager
Experience in Network and security operations center
Knowledge of systems metrics and performance monitoring
Strong Network Security background
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Telco experience will be an advantage
