We are looking for a competent Help Desk engineer to provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems & hardware. You will answer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them.
Escalate queries to 2nd/3rd level admins when required.
An excellent Help desk engineer must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. You must also be user-oriented and patient to deal with difficult end users.
The goal is to create value for users that will help preserve the company’s business & daily operation.
End users support management:
- Serve as the first point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and tools
- Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by end users
- Walk them through the problem-solving process
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel: 2nd/3rd level engineers
- Provide accurate information on IT products or services
- Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
- Pass on any feedback or suggestions by users to the appropriate internal team
- Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
- Liaise with 2nd/3rd level engineers and other users, on a regular basis to ensure smooth operation of the IT Help Desk
- Keep track of IT assets on a regular basis
What makes a Good IT Help Desk Engineer?
A successful IT Help Desk Engineer has good business awareness. Such awareness means understanding the needs of their end users so they can get their problems solved as quickly as possible.

- Previous Healthcare experience is an advantage
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
- Proficiency in: MS 365, Google suite, MS office: Excel & Word, WIFI APs configuration
- Dealing with printers installation and management
- Having an appetite to learn and gain experience
- Can handle pressure and workload, cool tempered
- Possesses excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in English, Arabic is a plus
- Preferably BSc in computer science, IT or relevant field (Diploma minimum)
