Senior Landscape Architect (Construction Supervision)

We need our Construction Managers to be versatile and thoroughly familiar with required contractual obligations and technical aspects of all facilities as well as those who have exceptional communication, analytical and management skills. In this role you will manage all onsite field construction activities associated with the completion of a large project. (Typically a project having more than 5 million construction manhours or a total installed cost of more than $150 million.) Applies widely diversified knowledge of various disciplines to be used during construction, as well as the methods and techniques to be utilized for installation. In addition to construction supervision, the incumbent is also responsible for field administration, procurement, and field engineering. Willingness to relocate to construction site locations is expected.
Direct the site supervision related to landscaping, irrigation and associated works
Responsible for reviewing all shop drawings, design proposals, method statements, any requests for information relating to the landscaping, irrigation and associated works.
Coordinate with Parsons design Engineers for resolution of related issues.
Direct, assist and monitor the performance of the construction team working on the supervision of the construction of the landscaping, irrigation and associated works.
Coordinate with client/PMC, the Contractor and related concerned authorities.
Generally, supervise, review, monitor and report on the progress of the landscaping, irrigation and associated works.
Liaise with all parties for site safety.
Convene and chair regular site meetings about issues related to landscaping work and related activities.
Issue additional drawings as required in coordination with the design office.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
Comply with safety, health and risk management requirements.
Provide all necessary on-site direction and issue site instructions for landscape, irrigation and other related activities.
Ensure correctness and completeness of as-built drawings in the area of his discipline.
Participate in contract administration.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in landscape/agricultural engineering, or related field and 15 years of related work experience.
. Minimum of 5 years UAE-Dubai experience is preferred.
. Large projects experience is preferred.
. Proven ability to perform in a management capacity.
. Excellent written and oral communications skills.
