Radiology Consultant
Job Description
A new opportunity has come up for well experience Radiology Consultant to work for a hospital based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
- evaluate the patient's medical history to ensure tests will not cause harm.
- suggest alternative diagnostic techniques, as needed
- perform or direct radiology staff to perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, such as X-rays, MRIs, CT Scans and ultrasounds, to diagnose illnesses and injuries.
- make a diagnosis based on the results.
- communicate test results and their diagnosis to a patient's primary physician through a written report.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
- minimum 3 /4 years of post-fellowship experience, with any of the following qualifications:
- Canadian – Fellowship of the Royal Colleges
- Australian – Fellowship of the Royal Colleges
- South African – Fellowship of Specialty Colleges
- UK – CCST or CCT or GMC Specialist Registration
- Ireland -CCST or CCT or IMC Specialist Registration
- USA American Board
- Knowledgeable in using imaging technology to diagnose disease.
- Background in the treatment and diagnosis of diseases with imaging technology.
- Able to use of radiation to treat cancer
- Have experience in breast imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, interventional imaging, pediatric imaging and cardiac imaging.
- proficient in general radiology techniques, including X-ray, mammography and ultrasound.
- Successful completion of their home Medical Licensing Examination / able to get a medical license to work in KSA
- Valid and active medical license in the state where you are currently practicing your profession.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Outstanding hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
- Wonderful bedside manner.
- Excellent communicator who can empathize with patients.
- Flexible working hours.
- Willing to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
