Description:
Stantec Abu Dhabi is looking for a Principal Consultant.
Role Objective:
To undertake a diagnostic of the client's supply chain, identify savings opportunities, tender and implement a new supply chain based on Performance Based Contracts (PB)
Responsibilities
. Design workshops to explore and understand the client's strategic intentions
. Analyse client spend on operations and identify opportunities for savings/improvements
. Develop a business case and present it to the client and their key stakeholders
. Design and obtain approval of procurement strategy and manage approval processes
. Develop scope of works, terms and conditions, tender documentation, pricing estimates
. and weighted rankings for work packages
. Identify potential suppliers and prepare tender advertisements. Set up and run pre bid
. conference(s)
. Develop a tender evaluation approach including an objective scoring mechanism
. Review tender responses and develop weighted rankings and an evaluation report
. Develop final supplier recommendations to client decision makers
. Develop tools and processes for proper functioning of the new supply chain
. Develop a transition plan between old and new contractors
. Develop a strategy and assist in negotiating the early termination of existing contracts to
. allow for new supply chain commencement.

Qualifications:
. BSc in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical)
. Preferred – MCIPS
. Experience with a leading management consultancy
. Experience in developing Performance Based Contracts (Alliances, PPPs, Frameworks)
. Experience in running a procurement sourcing exercise (end to end)
. 15+ years work experience. Experience in drainage operations preferred
. Ability to present at senior client level (C-suite) and build relationships with client staff
. Advanced PowerPoint and MS Excel skills
