Senior Structural Designer
Specific Accountabilities:
. Draw and interpret sketch.
. Interpret technical drawing.
. Prepare basic engineering drawing.
. Basic engineering detail drafting.
. Advanced engineering detail drafting and checking.
. Advanced structural detail drafting.
. Create 2D drawings using computer aided design system.
. Create 3D drawings using computer aided design system.
. Ensure that the level of design work is appropriate for the complexity of the construction tasks, achieving a good balance between design costs and implementation costs.
. Work within budget constraints set by Asset Team Leader/ Lead Discipline EngineerQualifications
Essential Skills / Experience:
. 10+ year of experience in offshore structural design
. Proficiency in the use of general computer softwares such as MS Office etc.
. Proficiency in using Microstation softwares
. Proficiency in PDS is preferred but not essential, S3D is a must.
. Must be well versed with Offshore industry related guidelines, codes and regulations such as API-RP-2A, API-RP-2L, DNV rules, offshore material specifications as per BS, ASTM & Euro etc 7 –
Minimum Education
Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering
