For a Trading company dealing in HVAC items, we are looking for a Valve Technician to perform maintenance, assessment, repair, and testing on various types of industrial valves and attend to site technical issues.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for repair and testing of various valves, including but not limited to ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, safety relief valves, PICV, FCU connect etc.
- Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly and testing of valves
- Follow all schematics and documented procedures in accordance with all Quality Control and BS standard as required.
- Thoroughly complete all calibration and documentation associated with testing and repairs.
- Travel to job sites and adhere to all site safety and performance requirements.
- Communicate timely updates to management, co-workers, and customers to ensure timely and successful completion of job responsibilities.
- Works closely with co-workers, management, and safety coordinator to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Site visit to analyze the issue and take necessary steps to fix the technical issues
- Guide the site Engineers on installation of actuators, wiring, valves assembling, setting the PICV and attend to any issues in installation at site

QUALIFICATION
· Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering / Electrical Engineering
REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum 5 years’ experience
· Fluency in English
· Proficiency in MS Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
· Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to travel outside the UAE
· Energetic, follows instructions and presentable with strong communication skills
· Previous experience in the same job is preferred
