What's the role
Due to extensive growth, we have a dynamic opportunity for a Sales Director to join Hilti Ireland. The Sales Director will be based in Hilti Ireland's Head Office, and part of the Senior Leadership Team acting as a strategic and operational leader to deliver sales results to drive current and strategic business priorities within Hilti Ireland.
As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for the overall direction and co-ordination of sales activities within your Division in Ireland, including – maximizing sales, development and localisation of sales strategies and ensuring Hilti Ireland continually exceeds targets maintaining a firm foothold of profitable growth. As a Sales Director, you are agile, hands-on and dynamic in your approach to team leadership, role modelling and coaching your direct reports of Regional Managers to success. What you need is:
- Tertiary and postgraduate qualifications in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline together with a proven record of sound marketing and sales managerial experience.
- Experience in the construction industry, or a comparably relevant sector
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, staff motivation and leadership are essential.
- Demonstrably high-quality skills in managing large teams of people, encompassing coaching, development, and performance management
- Requires wide business experience and extensive knowledge of the company's activities, with the ability to innovate and to communicate ideas effectively.
- Maintains a persuasive and credible presentation style.
- Impressive track record of quantifiable success
