What's the role
You are working as a project manager in the global packaging team, defining packaging solutions from first prototypes to final products. You will lead projects and initiatives to optimize existing packaging products and find new, innovative solutions to increase efficiency, reduce cost and drive sustainability. To meet timelines in new product introduction projects you will be responsible for all packaging related topics. Who is Hilti
What does the role involve
- Coordinate and define packaging projects together with external suppliers fornew product introduction projects includes resource, budget and timing responsibility
- Lead strategic packaging projects on optimization, cost reduction, standardization and sustainability
- Packaging simulations and cost analysis
- Documentation and keeping data management systems up to date
- Ensure knowledge transfer between corporate, business units and plants

- You hold a technical Bachelor's (or Master's degree) in packaging/plastics technology or equivalent, with profound knowledge in development, manufacturing and refining processes of different packaging materials
- A proven track record in defining and implementing packaging concepts and first experience in project management
- Good knowledge in testing methods of packaging materials
- You have a proactive style of working and a getting-things-done approach and can handle several projects simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills to successfully perform in a global matrix environment are equally as important as excellent stakeholder management skills
- You are fluent in English (additional European languages are an asset)
