Airswift is currently looking for an expatHVAC Engineerfor one of our largest projects in Qatar. This position requires availability for relocation to Qatar on a 3- yearscontract with the possibility of renewal! Our client, an Oil & Gas operating company in Qatar requires a HVAC Engineer for Offshore major projects to join on a contract basis through to December 2024 initially.
The job holder oversees the technical design aspects related to HVAC FEED Engineering of the Project development associated to the Central processing platform (CPP), the riser platform (RP) and Well Head Platforms and their integration to the main existing complex and specific brownfield scopes.
The activities include the review and comment of engineering and vendor documentation to ensure compliance with design dossier, SOR, Company specifications, Corporate standard and HSE regulation, international codes and classification society rules.
The main accountabilities are to ensure:
. Engineering dossier (FEED) is delivered in time with a robust definition with clear bases of design, a consolidated project scope, aligned with project state of requirement
. Design decisions and arbitrations are done securing the FEED time schedule.
. FEED deliverables are robust and secure the detail engineering phases, the next project phases and finally the operation phases.
. Projects Engineering documents are reviewed efficiently, in time.
. Engineering tasks/studies are well managed as per company standards and contractual requirements, with a placement in dues times of proposed deviations.
. All the technical interfaces with the design team are correctly managed
Suitable candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in HVAC system engineering, with a minimum of 15 years experience as discipline engineer in HVAC field in Oil and Gas activities.
. Offshore project experience is preferred
. Available for technical mission world-wide
. Familiar with Total general specifications is a plus
. Language: fluent English
. Computer literate
. Strong leadership skills and good communication skills
. Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment
