Job Description
Summary
- To ensure that an efficient and accurate filing system, both manually as well as electronically is maintained at all times.
- To entertain and conduct hotel inspections to clients whenever required.
- To establish and maintain strong relationship with the established clientele.
- To liaise and work closely with the related operation departments ensuring guest's requests and expectations are being met.
- To maintain positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
- To assist to conduct extensive competitor research and maintain excellent Product Knowledge of the Hotel.
- To ensure that the relevant information of all allocated Accounts is being updated regularly in the record or electronic database system.
- To follow up sales leads whenever required or assigned by the Sales Managers/ Executives.
- To assist/participate in Sales Blitz whenever is required.
- To attend and contribute to all training sessions and meetings as required.
- To exercise responsible behaviour at all times and positively representing the hotel team and Hyatt International.
- To maintain strong, professional relationship with relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners and other organisations.
- Manage day to day sales activities, plan and complete the work on time.
- Dedicate time to personal development.
- Provide guests with information (example: area attractions, restaurants, facility information) to enhance guest experience.
- Identify operational problems that reduce the effectiveness of hotel sales performance and work with appropriate department on solutions.
- To ensure high standards of personal presentation and grooming .
- To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
- Problem solving and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication.
- The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
- Driving License is preferred.
- Computer literacy.
- Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Sales & Marketing, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
