Purchasing & Warehouse Manager

Role Summary:

Purchasing & Warehouse Manager is responsible for developing purchasing strategies, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, coordinating with team regarding supply needs , also maintaining high performance of the warehouse’s storage and ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed according to schedule & company polices & procedures.

Main Rules & Tasks:

  • Manage and lead the purchasing process and ensure the implementation of procurement standards and policies.
  • Direct, manage and supervise the process of receiving and delivery to avoid any errors that can lead to material losses or expired materials.
  • Schedule delivers and ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Create an inventory level system for all items and materials used in the stores.
  • Maintain and implement inventory control polices & procedures.
  • Track and update the company's inventory by analyzing operational performance and solving problems for all branches.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that all processes (such as shipping and delivery) meet quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and finance, to create effective business plans.
  • Monitor logistics (warehouse, central kitchen) to ensure it runs smoothly.
  • Ensure that warehouse operation meet legal requirements and standards.
  • Ensure to deal with the right supplier by evaluating suppliers based on quality, timeliness and price & compare suppliers pricing and services.
  • Communicate and negotiate with supplier for prices & contracts.
  • Build & maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
  • Find an alternative supplier for each product.
  • Guarantees many quotes and selection of the best price/quality.
  • Follow up purchase orders with suppliers and deal with any differences between order and delivery.
  • Follow up and resolve any payment issue with all suppliers.
  • Maintain supplier data and supplier lists (database) and ensure that there is more than one supplier per product.
  • Ensure the provision of all stores materials, food and beverages, packaging, silverware materials and dishes.
  • Constantly monitor inventory in warehouses and central kitchen.
  • Constantly update quotes for all food and beverage menu and their material needs for all stores.
  • Communicate with all stores departments to solve order problems.
  • Quality reviews and evaluation of samples of materials used in the stores.
  • Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock.
  • Establish warehouse Polices to achieve an efficient warehouse operations.
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner.
