الوصف الوظيفي

  • Responsible for Cost Reporting and Controlling for the operation of the project; Planning and Scheduling, Manpower Planning & Control, and Management Reporting.
  • Review and understand all relevant documentation pertaining to the project including the scope of services, project execution plan, proposal/project schedule (including manpower projection plan), and conditions of the contract; Work within the standard Cost Control procedures. Ensure that these procedures fulfill client requirements and develop additional project-specific procedures where necessary
  • Prepare Project Operational budget broken down based on Work Breakdown Structures showing each cost element (Labor, Materials, & Equipment) and assigning cost centers and codes covering Indirect and Direct Cost
  • Improve the cost tracking and reporting process by developing creative data retrieval and reporting tools that reflected financial and project performance measurements (Earn Value Analysis)
  • Implement effective project change management and ensure that approved changes are put through the control systems on a timely basis and also that changes, trends, and forecasts reflect the project scope
  • Coordinates with Estimating Unit and Finance & Accounting Department in establishing Project Chart of Accounts of Awarded Contract job
  • Perform Risk/Trend/Analysis and advise project management team of any threats or deviations and recommend corrective actions
  • Liaise with engineering, procurement, finance, contracts, human resource, and subcontractors on issues related to Cost Control, progress, payments, material delivery (ROS dates)
  • Interface with project site management team sub-contractor and client counterparts for issues related to Cost Control activities
  • Provides Functional support to the Operation Team, in addition to early warnings and insights into the Project health to avoid cost overruns and time slippage.
  • Provide the CEO Executive with regular information and reports on the project Costing progress status

المهارات

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil Engineer or Planning Engineer) with specialization in Project Management or Cost Control related training
  • 14 years + Significant experience in Cost Controls and Scheduling in Projects and industrial construction environments
  • Strong experience in preparation of interactive visualized dashboards using Power BI to consolidate company cost, revenue, billing, and progress status
  • Knowledge of GBS construction and project execution methods is essential
