Finance Manager

Role Summary:

Finance Manager is responsible for planning, budgeting, allocation, development and implementation according to the basic financial and accounting needs of the stores and head Office, finance Manager is responsible for keeping company finances running smoothly.

Main Rules & Tasks:

  • Direct, Supervise and manage all daily financial transactions in compliance with laws and policies.
  • Monitor day-to-day financial transactions, such as payments and receivables, review income, costs, invoices and other transactions.
  • Own, build, manage and control budget and forecasting processes.
  • Collaborate with heads of other departments to build budgets.
  • Prepare & Manage the Journal entries and check the legality of each support document for each entry in compliance with policies.
  • Ensure that the entries are archived in proper and legal way.
  • Doing the bank reconciliation on weekly basis and check the reconciliation with all supporting documents.
  • Plan and implement the flow of finance cycles.
  • Full responsibility of the accounts payable, accrued, bank deposits, general ledger, payroll transactions, fixed assets transactions, loan reconciliation, the general safe and any financial transactions.
  • Ensure that the financial policies are applied.
  • Prepare the regular reports as needed like monthly P&L, Balance sheet, Cash flow …
  • Do monthly reconciliation for everything needs to be reconciled.
  • Do monthly inventory count for the stores.
  • Do spot check on the cash of the stores.
  • Maintain the company assets by tracking the assets and the expenses of the assets.
  • Prepare the financial statements to do the financial analysis and compare it with the budgets and plans.
  • Do all the financial work and advices of the revenue and expenses and answer all the questions that received.
  • Prepare the budgets and prepare the variances or deviations positive or negative between the actual and budgets and provide management the needed reports.
  • Prepare the financial statement for the end of the year as per the international regulations.
  • Oversee the inventory count at the end of the month for all stores and if any cost analysis shows high cost needs to do multi-inventory count.
  • Work with the cost controller to analyze the profitability of each sellable item and double check the calculations of it.
  • Manage and control external services for the preparation of taxes, audits, banking, investments, data preparation, and other financial needs.
  • Track the company's financial position and performance to identify potential areas for improvement.
  • Create and maintain financial policies and procedures (SOPs) and ensure their implementation.
  • Understand and comply with financial regulations and legislation and their implementation.
  • Act as contact person for any financial audits requested/conducted by government, Tax institution and any external parties.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 8-10 years of experience in Finance Manager Roles.
  • Food & beverage experience is a must.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong Excel Skills.
  • Strong Knowledge of financial reporting & budgeting.
  • Strong Financial System & business administration analysis.
