Job Summary
AECOM's award winning Building Services team are currently recruiting Digital MEP Leads to join our teams in Abu Dhabi & Dubai.
Responsibilities:
- Organizes own and others work to achieve set deadlines
- Independently checks the completeness & accuracy of work created by the team before review by the Senior Engineer or designated senior team member.
- Prepares BIM Execution plan and project standards
- Creates and maintains discipline BIM standards methods and procedures.
- Collaborates with other regional ME Digital leads
- Contributes and builds a cross-region digital community to share ideas best practice
- Ensures information exchanges occur as stated in the BIMexecution plan (frequency and formats)
- Ensure spatial coordination
- Administers and manages discipline content and script management solutions
- Manages discipline BIM content creation
- Initiates and manages projects in BIM360
- Supports project BIM models and deliverables
- Initiates coordination strategy and reporting using Navisworks and other coordination software and supports the team through the delivery phase
- Administer and manage disciplines software.
- Adopts creative and innovative solutions to assigned tasks, undertakes appropriate research and develops documentation to support these solutions
- Proactively checks and coordinates project BIM models and deliverables to ensure they meet Client requirements and Industry Standards and project BIM Execution Plan
- Ensures accuracy and quality of discipline BIM model information, presentation, and coordination
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years post graduate experience in a digital-related field
- Experience of delivering MEP BIM Projects in the Middle East
Specific Skills Required:
- Expert in Revit MEP
- Must be proficient in use of Navisworks Manager for multidisciplinary coordination
- Must be versed in local industry BIM Initiatives and internationally recognised BIM initiatives, standards, protocols and mandates like BS1192 and ISO19650
- Must be proficient in drawing/model management systems (Like BIM Team, BIM 360 Docs, Aconex or ProjectWise)
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- Postgraduate qualification in a digital-related field
