Job Purpose: The Resident Engineer shall be the first point of contact for any issues/services/support raised by Company and shall act accordingly to solve the same on priority basis and SLA.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Address/resolve all the complaints that are related to the system and network Of ZOR & LNGI.
• Monitor the system functionality daily.
• Carry-out/Supervise all tasks that are mentioned in Annexure C equipment support & maintenance include the preventive maintenance checklist, monthly report submission about the performance and status of each equipment’s under the network.
• Supervise all PMRS TETRA related work.
• PMRS TETRA communication & infrastructure (Switch, PC’s, TETRA Equipment’s)
Software Support, update and upgrade.
• Adding new Base Station, TETRA DAS, Radio Terminals, etc. to the existing
system.
• Install and dismantle all devices/equipment related to PMRS System.
• Follow-up & Evaluate on the technician’s tasks.
• Maintain the inventory of equipment, software and spares.
• Should be able to conduct test with diagnostic tools and its software (Analyzers etc)
• All calls shall be addressed within the agreed time frame in the SLA
• Provide full on-site support for the existing system & future requirements.
• The ability to identify any fault and provide the solutions.
• Do the necessary Configuration/Programming for the System (BTS, N/W Switches, Servers, BDA & Radios etc).
• Provide all type of Suggestion/Recommendation to COMPANY that may enhance the Capability/Productivity of the system.
• Conduct/prepare designs & drawings and conduct propagation coverage study for any new building/requirements.
• Review the design Documents/Drawings.
• Provide the necessary onsite training to COMPANY personnel.
• The Engineer shall give adequate necessary instructions, responsibilities and knowledge to the technicians in order them to enable safely operate and maintain the facilities under the proper guidance of the Engineer.
• Obtaining the Necessary Work Permits as per COMPANY standards & procedures.
• The Engineer should be engaged/supervised during the SAT & commissioning of any system.

QUALIFICATION
• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications/Electronics/Computer.
• OEM Training certificate for TETRA systems (ACCESSNET®-T IP, DIB R5,
TS 9200).
• At least 8- 10 years of experience in the field of maintaining TETRA Professional Mobile Radio System (PMRS) or equivalent.
• Shall obtain necessary Training and Certification from Hytera Certificates to be attached.
• Must be fluent in English language speaking, reading & writing.
• The ability & skills to address all the points that are mentioned in Job Descriptions & Responsibilities.
- Hytera and Tetra system Experience is a must.
- Member of KSE (For Overseas, the candidate's college should be approved so that he gets the KSE)
- Must have a Driving License for local candidates.
