Operation Engineer
Job Description
Our Client
We are currently hiring for a Leading Telco/ Digital Solution Provider and they are looking for a successful Operation Engineer to join their team.
Your Responsibilities
- Maintain system/network documentation, operational logs, and all manuals of processes and procedures used throughout normal operations.
- Implement server/network builds/installs and application installs/upgrades, as well as applying software patches to any component within the digital services software.
- Identify and respond to faults on the Digital Services, escalate and resolve service impacting incidents to management, and coordinate with third parties suppliers, all through to resolution.
- Continuously develop knowledge and skills in digital services operation in cloud environments, particularly with regard to our own architecture and digital platforms.
- Support multiple systems/applications of medium to highly complex (complexity defined by , the technology used, and system feeds and interfaces) with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility.
- L2/L3 customer contact for incident resolution and request fulfilment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks for digital software systems such as backups, patch management and hotfixes.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent experience
- Preferred ITIL, any Cloud certification from Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
- Proficiency in the Arabic language is a plus English language proficiency is a must
- 6 to 7 years of overall experience in Digital Services Operations, Maintenance and Support with a preference in VSaaS, RPM, Smart Energy ,Smart Logistics ,etc.
- Previous hands-on experience at least 3 years of the total experience with operation and support of digital services hosted in a cloud environment
- Computer Skills: Worked on or have good knowledge on new technologies (IoT, AI, Cloud Technologies, Cloud SaaS, IaaS or PaaS, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in Linux / Windows Administration is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in Cloud and virtualization technologies is a plus.
- Experience in working with Telco or Managed Services or System Integrator companies.
