The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Doha office, to play a key role in the design of some of the most exciting built environment projects in the Middle East and internationally.
Working across a variety of sectors such as Education, Healthcare, Residential, and Retail, you will work within a team of specialist engineers and technicians and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to manage the delivery of technically excellent, profitable projects.
You will develop new and nurture existing skills that will maximise satisfaction with our clients and ensure repeat business. The team will support you in doing this as you work your way towards gaining chartership status.
The Skills
Educated to degree level in mechanical engineer or building services engineering and having gained relevant experience in a mechanical engineering role within a building services consultancy context (ventilation, cooling and air conditioning, heating systems, fire protection etc.), you are already well versed in the use of relevant design software.
You have a solid understanding of the relevant industry codes and good practice, have experience of detailed co-ordination with other design disciplines, and have proven ability in both overseeing and producing creative, sustainable, and intuitive design solutions.
Given the collaborative and client focused nature of this role, excellent communication skills and programme management skills are essential.
Qatar UPDA Grade A is highly desirable for this position and experience of working in the Middle East is essential.
