Job Scope:

The core purpose of this role is to lead for great Shopper Marketing that closes the sale. This role will lead for the delivery of brilliant brand experiences at the point of purchase decision that, through unlocking shopper barriers and prompting triggers to purchase, positively influence shopper consideration, help find and / or convince the shopper to buy. This role develops and executes insightful shopper programs, based on an intimate knowledge of our shoppers and our customers, and in doing so contributes towards the development of strong brand equities, supports our customer’s agendas and therefore enables us to win in the marketplace. Three key areas of focus will be:

1) Building Brands in store;

2) Category Demand Projects

3) Retailer Partnerships

Roles & Responsibilities

This role develops and executes insightful shopper programs, based on an intimate knowledge of our shoppers and our customers, and in doing so contributes towards the development of strong brand equities, supports our customer’s agendas and therefore enables us to win in the marketplace.

Three key areas of focus will be:

1) Building Brands in store;

2) Category Demand Projects;

3) Retailer Partnerships;

Key Competencies & Skills:

  • University degree;
  • Minimum 4-5 years’ track record in trade marketing / customer development / marketing with leadership experience;
  • Fluency in English;
  • IT proficiency;
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills;
  • Accountability and responsibility;
  • Bias for Action in a constantly changing environment;
  • Structured verbal and written communication;
  • Open personality, is a team player;
  • Skill in completing multiple tasks and projects in parallel
