Review and analyze requirements, specifications documents and to provide timely and meaningful feedback to help ensure the best possible software application.
Ability to read and understand Business Requirements Document and translate Functional and Operational requirements into test cases and scenarios.
Perform gab analysis on requirement documents and identify any missing or ambiguous areas.
Full Accountability on modules/systems overall Quality.
Identify any potential problems that users might encounter.
Write and Execute manual test cases.
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
Conduct exploratory testing.
Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Develop and apply testing types and processes for new and existing products.
Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements.
Provide progress and status reports.
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and testing strategies.
Provide inputs on high-level test scenarios, challenges, risks, resources, test estimates, etc.
Track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
Estimation the testing efforts, Test strategy, defect reviews.
Qualifications :
BSc. degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
4+ years of relevant experience is required.
Strong knowledge of software quality methodologies, tools and processes
Understand Software Development Life Cycle, i.e., Waterfall, Agile
Ability to read and understand Business Requirements Document and translate Functional and Operational requirements into test cases and scenarios.
Familiarity of QC practices, standards and testing processes.
Excellent analytical skills.
Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and in team.
Ability to work with minimal to no direct supervision.
