Job Description and Requirements
Responsibilities and Duties

Performs all routine laboratory procedures.

Performs basic testing.

Operates & calibrates instruments as per section’s requirements.

Follows safety policies, universal precautions and hazardous material management and waste policies.

Understands/ implements KHCC established policies related to safety, safety codes and other related safety policies and evacuation codes etc.

Maintains the highest level of integrity, professionalism and patient confidentiality.

Learns, understands and ensures implementation and observance of all existing/ new policies related to JCIA and CAP.

Participates in continuing medical education (CME) as defined by the department.

Performs other duties as assigned or directed by the supervisor.
Education & Professional Experience

Bachelor degree in Medical Analysis, Medical laboratory Sciences, Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering or equivalent with a minimum grade of “very good”.

MOH Certification/registration is a must.

Good Knowledge of CAP and JCIA requirements is preferable.

Ability to work under pressure to deadlines.

Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook).
