1. Maintain an administrative staff by assisting in recruitment, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintain a safe and secure work environment; develop personal growth opportunities.

2. Communicate job expectations; plan, monitor and appraise job results, coach, counsel and discipline employees; initiate, coordinate and enforce policies and procedures. Contribute to the team effort.

3. Provide needed supplies for reception area and receptionist. Establish clear and concise policies, procedures, and work schedules within the administration department.

4. Provide effective communication systems; evaluate options and maintain equipment.

5. Purchases printed materials and forms by obtaining requirements and approval from Global Education Services; negotiate price, quality and delivery.

6. Complete special projects by organizing, coordinating information, requirements and monitoring results.

7. Prepare the pay roll based on the set deadlines.

8. Maintain the adherence of Code of Conduct by all staff, and apply the proper penalty when needed.

9. Maintains the proper filing of employees, and ensure the best legal status of the employee.

10. Provide historical references by utilizing a secure, efficient filing and retrieval system.

11. Achieve student count objectives by developing a marketing plan and partnering with various organizations.

12. Communicate with parents to ensure a smooth and healthy relationship with families.

13. Participate in student fee collection.

14. Maintain a professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; benchmarking professional standards; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.

15. Establish, study and recommend a yearly marketing plan and determine the target audience for the marketing campaigns.

16. Ensure that fees are collected on time, and returned checks are submitted to the ROP in a timely manner. Maintain well organized records of all receivables and oversee the accounts department’s operations.

17. Inspect the clinic status on a weekly manner, ensure the availability of all the necessary medical materials and the functionality of all devices.

18. Liaise with the maintenance, cleaning and catering providers to assure the proper functions of their duties. Inspect the building from time to another and report any dysfunction of these providers.

19. Manage and oversee the best transportation solutions for students. This includes buses inspections, parents’ communication, tracking systems, buses supervision and students’ health and safety measures.

20. Follow-up, schedule working times, and overs the overall operations of the school security guards. Ensure the top level of security within the school premises.

21. Prepare strategic plans to enhance the number of enrolment, set targets for every year and liaise with the academic team and the human resources team to prepare the suitable sections and recruit the needed staff.

22. Oversee the Information Technology Department by following up, doing continuous inspections and making sure that all the required IT is available and functioning properly.

23. Monitor the printing office by assuring the availability of the best suitable printers, assuring the amount of printing and investigating any case of overprinting. Revise and update the printing policies if needed.

24. Oversee the functionality of the school resources office by assuring the availability of all the needed inventory for the academic year. Revise, update and amend the resources policies as needed. Ensure the proper control of resources disbursal.

25. Inspect the school reception area and assure that the staff and the reception desk are up to the standards and provide the best representation of AL Shomoukh Nursery and Day Care culture.

26. Liaise with the academic team to discuss, investigate and solve parents’ complaints.

27. Required to develop, distribute and collect department end of term parents, students and staff surveys.

28. Collect and analyze department data and provide end of term report. (Two reports per year must be submitted)

29. Develop a high quality and well-researched improvement plans for the department.

30. Assist with the international, governmental or internal accreditation process.
