Graphic and Digital Design Teacher
High School · Khaitan, Kuwait TITLE: GRAPHIC AND DIGITAL DESIGN TEACHER
REPORTS TO: PRINCIPAL
Primary Purpose:
The Digital Design course is fully responsible for teaching students Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe InDesign CC, Adobe Premiere CC, 3D Basic modeling, and AUTODESK MAYA
Responsibilities:
Teaches IT or Yearbook courses to students in grades 6-12 using American curriculum and standards.
Work collaboratively with the IT department.
Train students on programs such as Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe InDesign CC, Adobe Premiere CC, 3D Basic modeling, and AUTODESK MAYA.
Taking pictures of key occasions for web updates, Journalism classes, and Yearbook submission.
May be responsible to assist the IT Support Team when needed.
Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among the students for whom they are responsible.
Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to students.
Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments to evaluate students' progress.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Computer Engineering or Computer Science degree
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Graphic design, or equivalent.
Proactive in handling all responsibilities in dealing with students.
Excellent time management skills.
