Primary Responsibilities:
This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and to juggle multiple critical requests. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside of the company is important. A good sense of humor is critical, as is the ability to be flexible, and to change direction at a moment's notice. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, be able take effective action without having to know the total picture, and efficiently and proactively solve difficult or complex problems that affect people within the department or other related groups. The ideal candidate will have an innate ability to simplify and streamline communication and process. The key goal for the position is to be the go to for the leadership team as well as all areas and departments which dovetail. This candidate will help foster a cooperative and collaborative atmosphere within the team and with other teams.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Management of complex calendar and scheduling
- Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items
- Heavy international travel coordination and expenses for the Middle East leadership team
- Email and inbox support
- Provide logistical support
- Work effectively with international businesses, distributed teams, and multiple time zones
- Demonstrate ability to develop broad understanding of the business and how your actions impact them
- Work well with other assistants throughout the team and across the company
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in any subject
- Working knowledge and skills in using MS Office applications such as word, excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working in Middle East or a multinational company in a similar capacity
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Acute attention to detail skills
- A terrific work ethic accompanied by an ever-positive, get-it-done attitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Ability to work cross-functionally and coordinate effectively with remote business units
- Sound judgment and flexibility in balancing competing priorities, tight deadlines, and keeping people and projects moving on schedule
