Your Role – International, Challenging And Future-Oriented! As a Protection Engineer, you will be testing and commissioning protection relays on site. You must have experience in the following. 380/110/33/13.8 KV Protection Relays Testing and Commissioning, includes all Basic & Advanced protection functions, e.g., Distance Prot. (21), Line Diff. (87L), Trafo Diff. (87T), BB Prot. (87B), etc., with all types e.g., Siemens, ABB, GE, SEL, etc. 380/110/33/13.8 KV Control & Protection Scheme / Function Check. 380/110/33/13.8 KV CT/VT/HVT for MV Swgr./ Primary injection/Stability Tests. Power Transformer Tests. Site Coordination Skills.Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid! Bachelor of Electrical Power Engineering or other relevant Engineering degree. 5 years or more experience in a similar role. Training on protection system and EHS. Problem solving, Critical thinking, Organization, Communication, Job Coordination, Creative thinking, Programming & Leadership. Willingness to travel throughout SA, base location can be flexible though. What else do you need to know?
