The role holder responsible for Define overall B2B ICT portfolio strategy, Collect and consolidate inputs on new/ revamped products. Also the role holder, responsible for Decide on existing products that need to be refreshed. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.
Managerial Responsibilities
• Participates in the development and implementation of the Messaging plans, in line with the corporate objectives.
• Directs and manages the Portfolio Strategy mandates, providing leadership and facilitating work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
• Interprets and implements change in Portfolio Strategy providing guidance and support, necessary for continuous improvement.
• Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures and quality standards in the Portfolio Strategy Core Responsibilities
• Owns and develop the overall Products & Solutions sector strategy by taking stc B2B strategy as an input and translating that into portfolio strategy, covering telco portfolio, growth portfolio, business development, and mega-projects, and ensure portfolio coherency and alignment with the overall strategy and with sales targets
• Executes the sector strategy by monitoring progress on strategic initiatives defined in the sector strategy, in coordination with the GMs
• Defines portfolio ownership boundaries among subsidiaries, and act as the owner and go-to reference within B2B on areas of products ownership, roadmap, and any potential conflicts
• Consolidates the overall products and solutions roadmaps from EBU and subsidiaries, ensuring synergies across EBU and subsidiaries, and avoiding cannibalization across B2B portfolios
• Conducts and orchestrate ideation forums with the presence of the all relevant EBU stakeholders to manage the ideation roadmap prioritization process
• Consolidates ideas from all ideation forums across EBU and subsidiaries, and assign owners, taking into account the portfolio boundaries
• Conducts and orchestrate portfolio roadmap refresh forums regularly (e.g., quarterly) with all relevant EBU stakeholders based on market changes, shifting business priorities, progress of current products, etc. People Management Responsibilities
• Defines goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensures effective application of the STC performance management process.
• Directs planning and selection of manpower in the Portfolio Strategy in line with the business and operational plans.
• Ensures high level of employee engagement and capability development by providing on-going feedback and coaching team members within the Portfolio Strategy. Performs other responsibilities and tasks as directed by the Portfolio Strategy & Pricing Director in order to meet objectives.
