The responsibilities of the role of Senior Specialist Talent Acquisition & Onboarding will be:

Recruitment/Talent Acquisition:

  • Lead allocated members of the wider TA team (sourcing, on boarding ancillary support etc.) in the delivery of customer satisfaction and excellent hiring.
  • Build and develop strong and sustainable relationships with Business Leaders.
  • Validate Workforce Planning numbers each year with the business to produce robust annual, quarterly and monthly recruitment plans.
  • Develop & implement the short, medium and long term Recruitment strategies and plans to ensure alignment with current and future needs of the businesses, Emiratization target and with other HR initiatives while providing a value-added contribution to AIQ..
  • Ensure the application of all appropriate recruitment policies as part of our operational effectiveness.
  • Manage the execution of recruitment process in order to ensure the effective fulfilment of recruitment requirements and the compliance with AIQ Recruitment Plans.
  • Manage negotiations with selected candidates on salary packages and contract terms and conditions, to reach an agreement on the terms and conditions of employment.
  • Manage the excellent selection of candidates against our values and the key criteria of all roles.
  • Implement candidate selection methodologies such as structured interviewing and other forms of assessments based on Business needs and present recommendations for potential candidates that match the identified job specifications and requirements.
  • Coach and guide Hiring Managers into effective interview methods ensuring a positive candidate experience at all times.
  • Liaise with key Talent Acquisition partners e.g. Executive Search & Recruitment Agencies to support niche or specific hiring activity. Ensure a positive communication with parties and that all 3rd parties are working as ambassadors for ADNOC hiring.

Onboarding:

  • Contribute to the development of Onboarding policies, processes and systems to meet the Company’s needs and objectives in a consistent manner.
  • Carry out the onboarding activities to ensure successful implementation of initiatives that reinforce and contribute to a world class welcome to AIQ and ensure a truly positive new employee experience.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the onboarding activities and process and propose continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the orientation programs for new hires to ensure successful onboarding, includes presenting at induction sessions, providing cultural & social integration and knowledge on company culture to ensure achieving optimum efficiency of new hires – and to ensure minimum attrition of new starters.
  • Provide advice & guidance to new recruits and ensure support on HR / IT / any other related matters includes coaching employees on basic legal and policy-related rules and regulations.
  • Ensure engagement pre-start to post-start with new employees and implement content related to onboarding, new employee experience including onboarding materials and additional communication.
  • Coordinate with internal process owners to ensure new employee experience and onboarding is best in class and represents our values.
  • Ensure the preparation of onboarding kit and welcome new employees’ upon their arrival and ensure their office tour and introduction to team members.
  • Collate applicant documents provided by the recruiter, hiring partner or directly from the candidate; such as contract, passport, visa, medical and government approvals and ensure all requirements are secured.
  • Liaise with Government Relations for matter related to employment and mission visas, status change, SEHA examination, Emirates ID registration, flight tickets and hotel bookings.
  • Gather feedback from newly hired employees about their experience to recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders who will support the onboarding process such as experienced relocation agencies and connect them with the candidates when required.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent Professional Qualification.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills:

  • 8 years of professional experience in HR Management, including recruiting processes within a large organization, preferably in Information Technology/ Computer Software Industry, of which 8 years in relevant role.
  • Clear and comprehensive understanding of the link between recruitment and business strategy.
  • Ability to develop clear, actionable steps in support for overall recruitments strategy.
  • Sound understanding of the Recruitment function.
  • Sound judgmental skills in selecting the right candidates.
  • Clear understanding of the link between sourcing, recruitment, onboarding and business strategy.
  • Knowledge and skills in the development of overall onboarding strategy.
  • Sound understanding of the onboarding function and its processes.
  • Sound understanding of UAE Immigration & Labour law.
  • Sound judgmental skills in customer service.
