Play Your Part
In this role you will be responsible for carrying out safe and effective engineering maintenance and statutory inspection of all kitchen equipment's and associated equipment's, Refrigeration equipment's, laundry equipment's, via the application of a planned preventative maintenance approach with the aim of maximizing equipment availability and safety in operation
Main Duties:

• As part of a shift team to work as an operational technician carrying out, planned preventative maintenance, unplanned maintenance, kitchen start up procedures, safety checks of the kitchen, laundry and refrigeration equipment's.
• To ensure that all equipment's are handed over to the operation in line with all related safety & park opening times
• To attend all equipment breakdowns in a timely manner and to ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with departmental procedures (SSOW)
• To ensure written documentation relating to pre-opening checks and maintenance works are accurate to reflect changes in procedure. To ensure that you complete PPM documentation in a timely manner in line with department procedures.
• Keeps both guest and Model Citizen Safety the # 1 priority. Accountable for proactively maintaining a safe an enjoyable environment for park guests and employees utilizing resources from local and state resources, and Security/Loss Prevention
• Responsible for the Maintenance of Kitchen, Laundry and Refrigeration equipment's with in the both LEGOLAND parks
• Ensures and follow the Merlin, LEGOLAND and departmental policies at all times
• Keeps all tools, machines and all other equipment in clean, safe and good working condition
• Maintain required records, such as checklists, log books and inventory records
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure that instructions are followed, deadlines are met, and schedules are maintained
• Follow all the Food hygiene and Safety compliance of LEGOLAND Dubai for persons working in kitchen area in order to meet all government and state regulations
• Assists in monitoring contractor jobs in kitchen and related equipment's
• Ensures that working places are in a hygienic, clean and safe condition at all times
• Operates, calibrates, maintains, and properly document the maintenance activity of kitchen equipment's
• Trained for using the monitoring testers (PAT Tester) maintains maintenance and calibration records for test instruments
• Creates and maintains teamwork within department and all other departments
• Assists other departments on the general maintenance works such as ride maintenance, mechanical, electrical, facilities, LEGO models if needed

Are You a Star
In order to be qualified for this role you should possess the below criteria:

• Qualified to at least C&G level 3, or approved equivalent, in either mechanical or electrical engineering supplemented by at least 3 years experience of working in ideally a theme park environment, or other Hospitality Facilities.
• Requires a minimum of three (03) years maintenance experience as a Multi skilled technician (kitchen, Refrigeration and Laundry technician).
• Extensive knowledge of Kitchen Equipment's (Dishwasher's, Electric Pizza oven, Combination Oven, Microwave oven, Electric Deep fat fryer, Electric Rotisseries), Refrigeration Equipment's (Cold room's, Freezers and chillers, Ice machine) and laundry Equipment's.
