Purpose:
The Jib Operator is responsible for operating the Jib during studio or remote operations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· To assist the Production Team/ Unit with checking, building, and to balance all gear prior the broadcast
· Assist in troubleshooting the Jib if any problems arise and provide an alternative fix including changing servos, camera, camera lens and supporting equipment
· To help choose and frame each shot, applying the technical aspects of light, lenses, film, filters and camera settings to achieve the effects describe by the show director
· To adjust positions and controls of cameras, and related equipment to change focus, exposure and lighting
· Work with in precise limits and standards of accuracy
· To follow a shot list, while choosing the angles and distances
· Working flexible shift patterns in order to meet the demands of the operation
· Ensure on health and safety issues on a daily basis.

· Full understanding and training on maintenance of the jib
· Good sense of visual composition
· Good attention to detail
· Good communication skills
Requirements:
· 2 years’ experience in relevant field
· Certified in relevant field
