Microsoft Services is looking for a Cloud Solution Architect for Support for Mission Critical team to help drive digital transformation through all Azure technologies. In this role you will be working with Support for Mission Critical customers building, deploying, operating, and optimizing large complex enterprise environments. You will also be responsible for customer satisfaction, deployment, adoption, and support of enterprise Microsoft deployments.
As a Cloud Solution Architect you will be a key technical resource for the customer, primarily focused on delivering proactive services such as education workshops, delivering assessments and providing tailored guidance. Troubleshooting skills are essential as this role will include working with Microsoft Premier/Unified Support to expedite incident resolution. The role can include a mixture of short and long-term customer engagements.
This role is flexible in that you can work up to 100% from home.

. Work within a larger virtual account team to strengthen customer relationships and work on mobile-first, cloud-first strategies for immediate and long-term service delivery plans.
. Translate business goals into technical needs
. Identify and manage goals and opportunities across Azure IaaS to improve customer solution health, performance, and availability.
. Drive and participate in proactive delivery management, spot performance issues, analyze problems, and provide solutions to meet customer needs.
. Engage with support, account, customer success, and product engineering teams to ensure streamlined customer experience.
. Apply lessons learned for continuous process and delivery improvement for the customer.
. Engage in meetings with customers and account teams to articulate service offerings.
. Work with Mission Critical Lead responsible for the planning and delivery of proactive and reactive support.
. Partner with various Engineering domain experts to scope and build modules, tools and proof of concepts
. Maintain knowledge of the latest Microsoft, Azure and Microsoft Cloud innovations to conduct experiments, drive product improvement
. Create deliverables to address common Microsoft Unified Support customer needs & support mobile-first, cloud-first strategy, share intellectual property with others.
. Plan and implement end-to-end Support for Mission Critical client support projects and initiatives.
. Maintain, expand accreditations and certifications assist in developing best practices for key technologies & products to support technical team readiness.
. Consistently apply lessons learned, model personal accountability & teamwork.
. Contribute & participate with meetings to articulate Microsoft Unified Support offerings to all customers share knowledge thru communities, adapt for customers.
. Contribute to On Call rotations to ensure high quality of service for the critical incidents created by Support Mission Critical customers
technical expertise:
microsoft csa should be experienced at implementing, automating, and troubleshooting microsoft identity and platforms environment.
the microsoft csa role requires knowledge and experience in several of the following technologies/areas:
microsoft identity core knowledge: experience and advanced knowledge in below (full list, not all the skills listed are expected from the candidate):
. experience in designing, implementing and securing active directory and azure active directory
. experience in integrating on-premises active directory with azure ad (using eg. azure ad connect, active directory federation services)
. experience with troubleshooting performance and replication issues on domain controllers along with client logon traffic problems and access to resources within domain and across trusts (involves creating and analyzing network traces and debug logs)
. experience with domain name system (dns), ntlm/kerberos authentication and authorization via access token and access control list (acl)
. experience with privileged access workstation (paw) deployment techniques and maintenance
. experience in microsoft identity manager (mim)
. good understanding of group policy management and infrastructure
. good understanding of certificates and public key infrastructure (pki)
. envision and deploy modern hybrid identity solutions (eg. azure ad mfa, azure ad conditional access, azure ad privileged identity management, azure ad b2b, azure ad application proxy, azure ad app integration and access management, access reviews, identity protection, defender for identity, just-in-time administration, passwordless authentication, user self-service capabilites)
microsoft windows platform core knowledge: experience and advanced knowledge in below
. configuring, administrating, and troubleshooting of microsoft windows products windows server 2012/r2/win8/win8.1, windows 10/server 2016/server 2019.
. industry experience in deploying, configuring, administrating and troubleshooting windows operating systems
. microsoft hyper-v
. datacenter technologies (administration of operating systems, virtualization, storage, backup, failover clustering, update services).
. desktop technologies (setup and deployment, activation, servicing windows, bitlocker encryption, devices).
. windows debugging and windows internals and debugging is a plus.
