Senior Process Engineer

Job Description

Qualifications:

• Preferred Saudi Nationals, however other nationalities are acceptable.
• Bachelor's or Master Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Process engineering design in oil & gas or refining/petrochemical fields.
• Knowledge of HYSYS/UNISIM or PROII/PROVISION. Knowledge of other process tools such as Flarenet is a plus.
• Good command of English both written and spoken.
• Team spirit with a delivery/results-driven mindset.
• Knowledge of HYSYS, Flarenet, MS WORD, EXCEL and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Communicate concisely at all levels.
• Effectively prioritises multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines.

Task Description:

• Under the responsibility of the Head of Department – Process, he/she will prepare process deliverables as per the Project's
• Conduct detailed engineering design and/or basic engineering design as a Process Lead/focal point.
• Prepare and submit Process engineering deliverables, review and incorporate comments from client until approval status including to raise and/or respond technical queries as required.
• Elaboration and checking of PFDs, P&IDs, DPTDs and Heat & Material Balances.
• Preparation of Basis of Design, Process Philosophies, Summaries, Reports and Process Description documents.
• Design and specification of pieces of equipment by preparing Process datasheets and relevant calculations.
• Produce hydraulic and vessels calculations (Process and Utilities) to develop the design and responsible for their accuracy. Pressure relief valve calculations.
• Ensured that HSE and quality assurance procedures are followed during the execution of the project.
• Reliably meet demanding deadlines and targets working under pressure.
• Strictly follow project quality management system.
