About the Role
Regional Consultants become deeply skilled in maintaining a close rapport with senior-level clients and building concrete, realistic measures of success that drive renewal. In close collaboration with the Consulting Services and Sales teams, the Regional Consultant helps clients to keep their objectives in focus, identify challenges and new sales opportunities, and demonstrate success to key stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
Manage post-implementation relationships with key customer stakeholders, Sales, and CS
Serve as a trusted advisor to the customer by applying in-depth knowledge of scholarly communications, open access, and academic publishing to solve institutional & research challenges
Create and deliver presentations that engage key stakeholders and drive results
Create a strong base of references for prospective customers
Stay abreast of the national and international landscape of research universities and global competition drivers and share with Product and Marketing
Requirements
Deep familiarity with Digital Commons and Consulting Services protocols (minimally 2 years of supporting clients with Digital Commons or relevant experience)
Superior collaboration skills with clients and with colleagues who are not direct reports
Demonstrated initiative in gray areas, e.g., to anticipate and solve problems using work experience, to attain new skills/resources on behalf of the client or team, etc.
Ability to independently create presentations and engage in sensitive correspondence with tact, discretion, and speed
Location: Egypt. Remote OK.
Under normal circumstances, infrequent travel is a requirement of the position in order to attend trainings, deliver presentations, and assist at conferences or related activities.
