Principal I&A Engineer
Job Description

Qualifications:
- B.Sc.Engg. in related majors (Electrical/Mechatronics/Mechanical/Chemical, etc.)
- 20-years+, that including 10+ years in core Instrument & Automation design. Candidates with prior Saudi Aramco experience will be preferred.
- Has experience in the oil-n-gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries and is recognized as specialist in a specific engineering field on large to mega projects.
- Excellent knowledge of Instrument Design Standards, Practices & process industry practices.
- Proven experience in handling multiple assignments independently & simultaneously.
- Have soft skills to lead medium to large team of professionals (12+ people).
Task Description:
- Coordinates with project discipline lead engineers to ensure correct implementation of the design for his engineering specialty and coordinates the work of engineers within his specialty.
- Prepares and reviews engineering studies, design drawings and documents, and material and equipment specifications.
- Resolves specialty related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards. Must have thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.
- Provides technical advice/training to associated dept. staff on all matters pertaining to Instrument & Control design.
- Capable of performing for work-related KPIs of productivity, quality & schedule.
