Job Summary:
IT Project Managers is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project in, which includes managing a team of employees to ensure projects are completed on time and within their specified budgets.
Responsibilities:
- Creating long-and Short-term plans, including setting targets for millstones and adhering to deadlines.
- Plan, direct and coordinate projects to ensure on-time completions within budget.
- Proactively handle project issues and/or risks.
- Monitoring overall progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary.
- Determine and define project scope and objectives
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Track project costs in order to meet budget
Requirements:
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- PMP Certified
- 5+ years of experience
