Description
Objective of the Positions
Strategic and operative steering of the assigned dealer / branches
Monthly, quarterly and yearly plans per assigned branch are prepared, discussed and agreed with the Dealer Monthly, quarterly and yearly targets are planned, tracked and reviewed
Sales Channel Planning is tracked, measured and reviewed Strategic and operative KPls are monitored and reviewed regularly Sales Operations support is defined and provided
Dealer / branch retail performance is analyzed regularly in cooperation with the Planning & Ordering team
Short term monthly sales and ordering requirements are reviewed with all stakeholders at dealer & MBEgypt level Support Sales team at MBEgy in developing effective sales measures to ensure targets are achieved
Support in CPO/ Used Car development in cooperation with the Used Car Manager at MBEgypt
Support the Corporate / Direct Sales related opportunities and Corporate / Fleet related topics
Main tasks
Dealer Operative Planning and Target Setting
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual retail targets with assigned dealer and MBEgypt Sales & Marketing Management
• Define / Coordinate Sales & Marketing measures to achieve targets (monthly, quarterly, yearly}
• Monthly performance monitoring of effectiveness of actions and counter-steerin
Dealer Management
• Responsibility of all sales related targets are achieved through cooperative development and executing of strategic & operational plans with assigned dealers / branches
• Ensure alignment at Dealer level between Sales (Retail, Corporate, Used Cars), Sales Operation & Marketing
• Analysis of Sales Funnel and market data with the Dealer to establish necessary Sales, Marketing and/or Training requirements. This coincides with CSI performance and improvement management
• In cooperation with the Dealer, completion and quarterly updates to assiined individual Business Plan along with dealer specific tar ets
Volume Planning, Order Management and Steering
• Alignment of monthly sales and production planning for assigned dealer to ensure optimum stock levels at all times
• Responsibility to ensure the Dealer agrees and submits the monthly reports (Sales Funnel, CPO, Trend, Order Bank) in a timely manner
• Support Dealers in short, mid and long-term planning given product launches
Reporting, Analysis and Communication
• Management and ownership of Weekly Forecast submission of assigned dealer
• Review of monthly CSI performance & mystery shopping data in relation to ongoing Action Plan topics aligned with dealer / branch
Administrative tasks
• Formulation and lead in management visits and quarterly steering meetings
• Timely communication of dealer analysis and reports to Management
. Completion of all Compliance and Integrity training, along with timely handling of the escalation process of Compliance and Integrity related topics.
Qualifications
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in Sales Planning, Operations and Sales Management.
Graduate / Post-Graduate degree in Business Administration, or similar, in combination with extensive automotive retail experience.
Familiarity with Sales / Lead Management Systems, along with Product and Planning processes at Retail and/or Wholesale level.
Experience at Management level in a Sales environment at either a manufacturer or Dealer level. Mercedes-Benz background is an. advantage.
Microsoft Office knowledge especially MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
* English is a must.
